Levítico 14:42-52

42 Se traerán piedras nuevas en lugar de las que se han quitado y volverán a cubrirse las paredes con yeso.

43 »Sin embargo, si el moho vuelve a aparecer después de que todas las piedras hayan sido reemplazadas y las paredes hayan sido raspadas y recubiertas con yeso,

44 el sacerdote deberá regresar a la casa y examinarla de nuevo. Si encuentra que el moho se ha extendido, es evidente que las paredes han sido afectadas con un moho grave, y la casa está totalmente contaminada.

45 Deberá ser demolida y todas sus piedras, maderas y yeso deberán ser llevados fuera de la ciudad al lugar designado como ceremonialmente impuro.

46 Los que entren en la casa durante el tiempo de cuarentena quedarán ceremonialmente impuros hasta el anochecer,

47 y todos los que duerman o coman en la casa deberán lavar su ropa.

48 »Si el sacerdote regresa para su inspección y encuentra que el moho no ha vuelto a aparecer en la casa después de haber sido cubiertas las paredes con yeso, declarará pura la casa porque es evidente que el moho ha desaparecido.

49 Para purificar la casa, el sacerdote deberá tomar dos aves, un palo de cedro, un poco de hilo escarlata y una rama de hisopo.

50 Matará una de las aves sobre una vasija de barro llena de agua fresca.

51 Tomará el palo de cedro, la rama de hisopo, el hilo escarlata y el ave viva, y los mojará en la sangre del ave muerta y en el agua fresca. Luego rociará la casa siete veces.

INTRODUCTION TO LEVITICUS 14

This chapter treats of the purification of lepers, and the rules to be observed therein; and first what the priest was to do for his cleansing when brought to him, by making use of two birds, with cedar wood, scarlet and hyssop, as directed, Le 14:1-7; what he was to do for himself, shaving off all his hair, and washing his flesh and clothes in water, Le 14:8,9; the offerings to be offered up for him, two he lambs and one ewe lamb, and a meat offering, with a particular account of the use of the blood of the trespass offering, and of oil put upon the tip of his right ear, the thumb of his right hand, and the great toe of his right foot, Le 14:10-20; but if poor, only one lamb was required, a meat offering of one tenth deal, and two turtle doves or two young pigeons, and blood and oil used as before, Le 14:21-32; next follow an account of leprosy in an house, and the signs of it, and the rules to judge of it, Le 14:33-48; and the manner of cleansing from it, Le 14:49-53; and the chapter is closed with a recapitulation of the several laws concerning the various sorts of leprosy in this and the preceding chapter, Le 14:54-57.
