1 Chronicles 16:5-15 (New International Version)

5 Asaph was the chief, Zechariah second, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They were to play the lyres and harps, Asaph was to sound the cymbals, 6 and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 That day David first committed to Asaph and his associates this psalm1 of thanks to the LORD: 8 Give thanks2 to the LORD, call on his name; make known among the nations3 what he has done. 9 Sing to him, sing praise4 to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 10 Glory in his holy name;5 let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. 11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek6 his face always. 12 Remember7 the wonders8 he has done, his miracles,9 and the judgments he pronounced, 13 O descendants of Israel his servant, O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones. 14 He is the LORD our God; his judgments10 are in all the earth. 15 He remembersa11 his covenant forever, the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
