"1You shall sow your land for sixyears and gather in its yield,

but on the seventhyear you shall let it arest and liefallow, so that the needy of your people may eat ; and whatever they leave the beast of the field may eat. You are to do the same with your vineyard and your olivegrove.

"2Sixdays you are to do your work, but on the seventhday you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your femaleslave, as well as byour stranger, may refresh themselves.

"Now 3concerning everythingwhich I have said to you, be on your guard ; and 4do not mention the name of othergods, nor let them be heardcfrom your mouth.

"5Threetimes a year you shall celebrate a feast to Me.

"You shall observe6the Feast of UnleavenedBread ; for sevendays you are to eatunleavenedbread, as I commanded you, at the appointedtime in the 7monthAbib, for in it you came out of Egypt. And d8none shall appearbefore Me empty-handed.

"Also you shall observe 9the Feast of the Harvest of the firstfruits of your labors from what you sow in the field ; also the Feast of the Ingathering at the end of the year10when you gather in the fruit of your labors from the field.

"11Threetimes a yearall your males shall appearbefore the LordeGOD.

"12You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leavenedbread ; 13nor is the fat of My ffeast to remainovernightuntilmorning.

"You shall bring14the choicefirstfruits of your soil into the house of the LORD your God. "15 You are not to boil a younggoat in the milk of its mother.
