Now that I have prepared my case,1 I know I will be vindicated.2

Can anyone bring charges against me?3 If so, I will be silent4 and die.5

"Only grant me these two things, O God, and then I will not hide from you:

Withdraw your hand6 far from me, and stop frightening me with your terrors.7

Then summon me and I will answer,8 or let me speak, and you reply.9
