But if men are bound in chains,1 held fast by cords of affliction,29
he tells them what they have done-- that they have sinned arrogantly.310
He makes them listen4 to correction5 and commands them to repent of their evil.611
If they obey and serve him,7 they will spend the rest of their days in prosperity8 and their years in contentment.9
