No one has ever gone into heaven1 except the one who came from heaven2--the Son of Man.a3

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert,4 so the Son of Man must be lifted up,5

that everyone who believes6 in him may have eternal life.b7

"For God so loved8 the world that he gave9 his one and only Son,c10 that whoever believes11 in him shall not perish but have eternal life.12

For God did not send his Son into the world13 to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.14
