Leviticus 19:9-18 (New International Version)

9 " 'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges1 of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.2 10 Do not go over your vineyard a second time3 or pick up the grapes that have fallen.4 Leave them for the poor and the alien.5 I am the LORD your God. 11 " 'Do not steal.6 " 'Do not lie.7 " 'Do not deceive one another.8 12 " 'Do not swear falsely9 by my name10 and so profane11 the name of your God. I am the LORD. 13 " 'Do not defraud your neighbor12 or rob13 him.14 " 'Do not hold back the wages of a hired man15 overnight.16 14 " 'Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind,17 but fear your God.18 I am the LORD. 15 " 'Do not pervert justice;19 do not show partiality20 to the poor or favoritism to the great,21 but judge your neighbor fairly.22 16 " 'Do not go about spreading slander23 among your people. " 'Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor's life.24 I am the LORD. 17 " 'Do not hate your brother in your heart.25 Rebuke your neighbor frankly26 so you will not share in his guilt. 18 " 'Do not seek revenge27 or bear a grudge28 against one of your people,29 but love your neighbor30 as yourself.31 I am the LORD.
