241Jesus got up and wentaway from there to the region of 2Tyrea. And when He had entered a house, He wantednoone to know of it; byet He could not escapenotice.
But after hearing of Him, a womanwhoselittledaughterhad an uncleanspiritimmediatelycame and fell at His feet.
26Now the woman was a cGentile, of the Syrophoenicianrace. And she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
And He was saying to her, "Let the children be satisfiedfirst, for it is not dgood to take the children'sbread and throw it to the dogs."28
But she answered and said to Him, "Yes, Lord, but even the dogsunder the tablefeed on the children'scrumbs."
And He said to her, "Because of thiseanswergo; the demon has gone out of your daughter."30
And goingback to her home, she found the childflying on the bed, the demon having left.
