Matthew 6:7-15

"And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as 1the Gentiles do, for 2they think that they will be heard 3for their many words.
Do not be like them, 4for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
5Pray then like this: 6"Our Father in heaven, 7hallowed be 8your name.[a]
9Your kingdom come, 10your will be done,[b] 11on earth as it is in heaven.
12Give us 13this day our daily bread,[c]
and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And 14lead us not into temptation, but 15deliver us from 16evil.[d]
17For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,
18but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
