6 When they therefore were come together , they asked of him, saying , Lord , wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk ? 10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified , whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name. 28 Saying , Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold , ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us. 7 And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge , said God: and after that shall they come forth , and serve me in this place. 29 Then fled Moses at this saying, and was a stranger in the land of Madian, where he begat two sons. 21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. 29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near , and join thyself to this chariot. 43 To him give all the prophets witness , that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. 15 And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written , 9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy . 9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose , and strove , saying , We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. 2 And when he was called forth , Tertullus began to accuse him, saying , Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence, 10 Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak , answered , Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself: 16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
