Acts 2:24; Acts 13:28; Acts 22:4; Acts 23:29; Acts 25:11; Acts 25:25; Acts 26:31; Acts 28:18 (King James Version)

24 Whom God hath raised up , having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain . 4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. 29 Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds. 11 For if I be an offender , or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die : but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar. 25 But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him. 31 And when they were gone aside , they talked between themselves, saying , This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds. 18 Who, when they had examined me, would have let me go , because there was no cause of death in me.
