13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up , and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go . 14 For we have heard him say , that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us. 42 Then God turned , and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness? 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. 4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. 26 And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled . 26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed , being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God. 4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep , that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. 11 And when he was come unto us , he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said , Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. 4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. 1 And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners unto one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band. 16 And when we came to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard: but Paul was suffered to dwell by himself with a soldier that kept him. 17 And it came to pass , that after three days Paul called the chief of the Jews together : and when they were come together , he said unto them, Men and brethren, though I have committed nothing against the people, or customs of our fathers, yet was I delivered prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.
