Acts 3:3; Acts 10:48; Acts 16:39; Acts 18:20; Acts 23:18; Acts 23:20 (King James Version)
Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
And they came and besought them, and brought them out , and desired them to depart out of the city.
When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;
So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said , Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
And he said , The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
