Hebrews 7:26-28 (New International Version)

View In My Bible
26 Such a high priest1 meets our need--one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners,2 exalted above the heavens.3 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices4 day after day, first for his own sins,5 and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all6 when he offered himself.7 28 For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak;8 but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son,9 who has been made perfect10 forever.
