Isaiah 32:5-8 (Today's New International Version)

View In My Bible
5 No longer will the fool1 be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected. 6 For fools speak folly,2 their hearts are bent on evil:3 They practice ungodliness4 and spread error5 concerning the LORD; the hungry they leave empty6 and from the thirsty they withhold water. 7 Scoundrels use wicked methods,7 they make up evil schemes8 to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy9 is just.10 8 But the noble make noble plans, and by noble deeds11 they stand.12
