When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down , and heal his son: for he was at the point of death .
49Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead .50This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof , and not die .

Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead , and the prophets; and thou sayest , If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.

Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead ? and the prophets are dead : whom makest thou thyself?

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead , yet shall he live :26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die . Believest thou this?

Then when Mary was come where Jesus was , and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died .

Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die , it abideth alone: but if it die , it bringeth forth much fruit.

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die : yet Jesus said not unto him , He shall not die ; but, If I will that he tarry till I come , what is that to thee?
