4 And it came to pass, when the angel of the LORD spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept . 18 And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present. 28 Thus was Midian subdued before the children of Israel, so that they lifted up their heads no more . And the country was in quietness forty years in the days of Gideon. 7 And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood in the top of mount Gerizim, and lifted up his voice, and cried , and said unto them, Hearken unto me, ye men of Shechem, that God may hearken unto you. 48 And Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an axe in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it, and laid it on his shoulder, and said unto the people that were with him, What ye have seen me do , make haste , and do as I have done. 54 Then he called hastily unto the young man his armourbearer , and said unto him, Draw thy sword, and slay me, that men say not of me, A woman slew him. And his young man thrust him through , and he died . 31 Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down , and took him, and brought him up , and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years. 17 And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said , Whither goest thou? and whence comest thou? 2 And the people came to the house of God , and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore; 23 And the children of Benjamin did so , and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced , whom they caught : and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.
