And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took , and cast into his garden; and it grew , and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.
It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear , let him hear .
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores ,
And he looked up , and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
And he said , Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had .
(Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)
And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired ; but he delivered Jesus to their will.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do . And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
