And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him , If thou wilt , thou canst make me clean .
And Jesus, moved with compassion , put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will ; be thou clean .
And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in , and danced , and pleased Herod and them that sat with him , the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt , and I will give it thee.
And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked , saying , I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.
And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him , he would not reject her.
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 35For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying , Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire .
And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
