40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him , If thou wilt , thou canst make me clean . 7 And cried with a loud voice, and said , What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. 22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in , and danced , and pleased Herod and them that sat with him , the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt , and I will give it thee. 23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom. 6 He answered and said unto them , Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written , This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 27 And Jesus went out , and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am ? 29 And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am ? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ. 38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed , when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased , and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 36 And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you? 15 Shall we give , or shall we not give ? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. 28 But after that I am risen , I will go before you into Galilee. 30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. 31 But he spake the more vehemently , If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all. 42 Rise up , let us go ; lo , he that betrayeth me is at hand . 49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching , and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled . 72 And the second time the cock crew . And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him , Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon , he wept .
