48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 5 And when thou prayest , thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you , They have their reward. 7 But when ye pray , use not vain repetitions , as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 16 Moreover when ye fast , be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast . Verily I say unto you , They have their reward. 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto , but to minister , and to give his life a ransom for many. 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be . 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage , until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country , who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods . 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
