2 Kings 2:1

And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah
into heaven by a whirlwind
Thereby lifting him up from the earth, and which, as it was the purpose and will of God, Elijah had notice of, as appears by his motions to different places, under a divine direction:

that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal,
where it seems they met, a place where the Israelites first pitched when they came over Jordan, and where the tabernacle was for some time, and was famous for religious services, see ( Joshua 4:19 ) ( 5:9 ) .

1 Yēhéhuá yào yòng xuán fēng jiē Yǐlìyà shēng tiān de shíhou , Yǐlìyà yǔ Yǐlìshā cóng Jíjiǎ qián wǎng .

2 Yǐlìyà duì Yǐlìshā shuō , Yēhéhuá chāi wǒ wǎng Bótèlì qù , nǐ kĕyǐ zaì zhèlǐ dĕnghòu . Yǐlìshā shuō , wǒ zhǐ zhe yǒngshēng de Yēhéhuá , yòu gǎn zaì nǐ miànqián qǐshì , wǒ bì bù líkāi nǐ . yúshì èr rén xià dào Bótèlì .

3 Zhù Bótèlì de xiānzhī méntǔ chūlai jiàn Yǐlìshā , duì tā shuō , Yēhéhuá jīnrì yào jiē nǐde shīfu líkāi nǐ , nǐ zhīdào bù zhīdào . tā shuō , wǒ zhīdào , nǐmen búyào zuò shēng .

4 Yǐlìyà duì Yǐlìshā shuō , Yēhéhuá chāiqiǎn wǒ wǎng Yēlìgē qù , nǐ kĕyǐ zaì zhèlǐ dĕnghòu . Yǐlìshā shuō , wǒ zhǐ zhe yǒngshēng de Yēhéhuá , yòu gǎn zaì nǐ miànqián qǐshì , wǒ bì bù líkāi nǐ . yúshì èr rén dào le Yēlìgē .

5 Zhù Yēlìgē de xiānzhī méntǔ jiù jìn Yǐlìshā , duì tā shuō , Yēhéhuá jīnrì yào jiē nǐde shīfu líkāi nǐ , nǐ zhīdào bù zhīdào . tā shuō , wǒ zhīdào , nǐmen búyào zuò shēng .
