Ezra 10:12

Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice,
&c.] That they might be heard, and to show that they were willing and ready to comply with what was proposed:

as thou host said, so must we do;
being convinced of their sin, they saw it was a duty incumbent on them to put away their strange wives, and that there was a necessity of it, to avert the wrath of God from them.

10 Jìsī Yǐsīlà zhàn qǐlai , duì tāmen shuō , nǐmen yǒu zuì le . yīn nǐmen qǔ le waì bāng de nǚzi wèi qī , zēngtiān Yǐsèliè rén de zuìè .

11 Xiànzaì dāng xiàng Yēhéhuá nǐmen lièzǔ de shén rèn zuì , zūnxíng tāde zhǐyì , lí jué zhèxie guó de mín hé waì bāng de nǚzi .

12 Huì zhòng dōu dàshēng huídá shuō , wǒmen bì zhào zhe nǐde huà xíng ,

13 Zhǐshì bǎixìng zhòngduō , yòu fùng dà yǔ de shí líng , wǒmen bùnéng zhàn zaì waì tóu , zhè yĕ bú shì yī liǎng tiān bàn wán de shì , yīn wǒmen zaì zhè shì shang fàn le dà zuì .

14 Bù rú wèi quánhuì zhòng paì shǒulǐng bànlǐ . fán wǒmen chéngyì zhōng qǔ waì bāng nǚzi wèi qī de , dāng àn suǒ déng de rìqī , tóng zhe bĕn chéng de zhǎnglǎo hé shì shī ér lái , zhídào bàn wán zhè shì , shén de liè nù jiù zhuǎn lí wǒmen le .
