12 Xī jiè jiù shì dà hǎi hé kàojìn dà hǎi zhī dì . zhè shì Yóudà rén àn zhe zōngzú suǒ de zhī dì sìwéi de jiāo jiè .

YuēShūyàjì 15:12 Meaning and Commentary

Joshua 15:12

And the west border [was] to the great sea, and the coast
[thereof]
The western border of the tribe of Judah went along by the Mediterranean sea, which lay west to the land of Canaan; and this border reached from Jabneel to the river of Egypt, where the southern border ended, ( Joshua 15:4 ) ;

this [is] the coast of the children of Judah round about according to
their families;
but being too large, some part of it was afterwards given to Simeon, and some particular cities of it were given to Dan and Benjamin: it was bounded on the west by the tribes of Simeon and Dan towards the Mediterranean sea, and by the tribe of Benjamin on the north, and by the wilderness of Paran on the south, and by the dead sea and Jordan on the east.

10 Yòu cóng Bālā wǎng xī rǎo dào Xīĕrshān , jiē lián dào Yélín shān de bĕibiān ( Yélín jiù shì jī sǎ lún ) . yòu xià dào Bǎishìmaì guō Tíngnà ,

11 Tōng dào Yǐgélún bĕibiān , yán dào Shījīlún , jiē lián dào Bālā shān . yòu tōng dào Yǎbǐniè , zhí tōng dào hǎi wéizhǐ .

12 Xī jiè jiù shì dà hǎi hé kàojìn dà hǎi zhī dì . zhè shì Yóudà rén àn zhe zōngzú suǒ de zhī dì sìwéi de jiāo jiè .

13 Yuēshūyà zhào Yēhéhuá suǒ fēnfu de , jiāng Yóudà rén zhōng de yī duàn dì , jiù shì Jīlièyàbā , fèn gĕi Yéfúní de érzi Jiālè . yà bā shì Yànà zú de shǐzǔ ( Jīlièyàbā jiù shì Xībǎilún ) .

14 Jiālè jiù cóng nàli gǎn chū Yànà zú de sān gè zúzhǎng , jiù shì Shìshāi , Yàxīmàn , Tàmǎi .
