I have not stopped giving thanks for you,1 remembering you in my prayers.217
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,3 may give you the Spirita of wisdom4 and revelation, so that you may know him better.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened5 in order that you may know the hope to which he has called6 you, the riches7 of his glorious inheritance8 in the saints,919
and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power10 is like the working of his mighty strength,1120
which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead12 and seated him at his right hand13 in the heavenly realms,1421
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion,15 and every title16 that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.17
