Luke 19:5-15

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for 1I must stay at your house today."
So he hurried and came down and 2received him joyfully.
And when they saw it, they all 3grumbled, "He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner."
And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Behold, Lord, the half of my goods 4I give to the poor. And if I have 5defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it 6fourfold."
And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, since 7he also is a son of Abraham.
For 8the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."

The Parable of the Ten Minas

As they heard these things, he proceeded to tell a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because 9they supposed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately.
He said therefore, 10"A nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and then return.
Calling 11ten of his servants,[a] he gave them ten minas,[b] and said to them, 'Engage in business 12until I come.'
But 13his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, 'We do not want this man to reign over us.'
When he returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to whom he had given the money to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by doing business.
