Matthew 24:4-25

And Jesus answered them, 1"See that no one leads you astray.
For 2many will come in my name, saying, 'I am 3the Christ,' and they will lead many astray.
And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you 4are not alarmed, for this 5must take place, but the end is not yet.
For 6nation will rise against nation, and 7kingdom against kingdom, and there will be 8famines and earthquakes in various places.
All these are but the beginning of 9the birth pains.
"Then 10they will deliver you up 11to tribulation and 12put you to death, and 13you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.
And then many will fall away[a] and 14betray one another and hate one another.
And many 15false prophets will arise 16and lead many astray.
And because lawlessness will be increased, 17the love of many will grow cold.
18But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom 19will be proclaimed throughout the whole world 20as a testimony 21to all nations, and 22then the end will come.

The Abomination of Desolation

"So when you see the abomination of desolation 23spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in 24the holy place (25let the reader understand),
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
26Let the one who is on 27the housetop not go down to take what is in his house,
and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak.
And 28alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days!
Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.
For then there will be 29great tribulation, 30such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.
And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for 31the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
32Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it.
For 33false christs and 34false prophets will arise and 35perform great signs and wonders, 36so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
See, 37I have told you beforehand.
