He answered, 1"He who has dipped his hand in the dish with me will betray me.

The Son of Man goes 2as it is written of him, but 3woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! 4It would have been better for that man if he had not been born."

Judas, who would betray him, answered, "Is it I, 5Rabbi?" He said to him, 6"You have said so."
Institution of the Lord's Supper
267Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and 8after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; 9this is my body."

And he took a cup, and when he 10had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, "Drink of it, all of you,

for 11this is my 12blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for 13many 14for the forgiveness of sins.

I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you 15in my Father's kingdom."
Jesus Foretells Peter's Denial

Then Jesus said to them, "You will all fall away because of me this night. For it is written, 'I will 19strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'

But after I am raised up, 20I will go before you to Galilee."

21Peter answered him, "Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away."
