22
1But I tell you, it will be more bearable on 2the day of judgment for 3Tyre and Sidon than for you.
23
And you, 4Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to 5Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24
6But I tell you that 7it will be more tolerable on 8the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you."
Come to Me, and I Will Give You Rest
259At that time Jesus declared, "I thank you, Father, 10Lord of heaven and earth, that 11you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and 12revealed them to little children;
26
yes, Father, for such was your 13gracious will.[a]
27
14All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son 15except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone 16to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28
17Come to 18me, all who labor and are 19heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29
Take my yoke upon you, and 20learn from me, for I am 21gentle and lowly in heart, and 22you will find rest for your souls.
30
For 23my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
