It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.1 Stand firm,2 then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.32
Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised,4 Christ will be of no value to you at all.
Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law.54
You who are trying to be justified by law6 have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.75
But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.86
For in Christ Jesus9 neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value.10 The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.117
You were running a good race.12 Who cut in on you13 and kept you from obeying the truth?
That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you.149
"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough."1510
I am confident16 in the Lord that you will take no other view.17 The one who is throwing you into confusion18 will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.
Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted?19 In that case the offense20 of the cross has been abolished.
As for those agitators,21 I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
You, my brothers, were called to be free.22 But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful naturea;23 rather, serve one another24 in love.
