But Israel will be saved1 by the LORD with an everlasting salvation;2 you will never be put to shame or disgraced,3 to ages everlasting.
For this is what the LORD says-- he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth,4 he founded it; he did not create it to be empty,5 but formed it to be inhabited6-- he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.719
I have not spoken in secret,8 from somewhere in a land of darkness;9 I have not said to Jacob's descendants,10 'Seek11 me in vain.' I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right.1220
"Gather together13 and come; assemble, you fugitives from the nations. Ignorant14 are those who carry15 about idols of wood, who pray to gods that cannot save.1621
Declare what is to be, present it-- let them take counsel together. Who foretold17 this long ago, who declared it from the distant past?18 Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me,19 a righteous God20 and a Savior;21 there is none but me.
"Turn22 to me and be saved,23 all you ends of the earth;24 for I am God, and there is no other.2523
By myself I have sworn,26 my mouth has uttered in all integrity27 a word that will not be revoked:28 Before me every knee will bow;29 by me every tongue will swear.3024
They will say of me, 'In the LORD alone are righteousness31 and strength.32' " All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.3325
But in the LORD all the descendants34 of Israel will be found righteous35 and will exult.36
