"Listen to me, my people;1 hear me,2 my nation: The law3 will go out from me; my justice4 will become a light to the nations.55

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke,11 the earth will wear out like a garment12 and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation13 will last forever,14 my righteousness will never fail.157
"Hear me, you who know what is right,16 you people who have my law in your hearts:17 Do not fear the reproach of men or be terrified by their insults.188
For the moth will eat them up like a garment;19 the worm20 will devour them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever,21 my salvation through all generations."
