Isaiah 2:2-12 NIV

2 In the last days1 the mountain2 of the LORD's temple will be established as chief among the mountains;3 it will be raised4 above the hills, and all nations will stream to it.5
3 Many peoples6 will come and say, "Come, let us go7 up to the mountain8 of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law9 will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.10

4 He will judge11 between the nations and will settle disputes12 for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.13 Nation will not take up sword against nation,14 nor will they train for war anymore.

The Day of the LORD

6 You have abandoned17 your people, the house of Jacob.18 They are full of superstitions from the East; they practice divination19 like the Philistines20 and clasp hands21 with pagans.22
