The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine.116
The LORD will roar2 from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem;3 the earth and the sky will tremble.4 But the LORD will be a refuge5 for his people, a stronghold6 for the people of Israel.
"Then you will know7 that I, the LORD your God,8 dwell in Zion,9 my holy hill.10 Jerusalem will be holy;11 never again will foreigners invade her.1218
"In that day the mountains will drip new wine,13 and the hills will flow with milk;14 all the ravines of Judah will run with water.15 A fountain will flow out of the LORD's house16 and will water the valley of acacias.a1719
But Egypt18 will be desolate, Edom19 a desert waste, because of violence20 done to the people of Judah, in whose land they shed innocent blood.
Judah will be inhabited forever21 and Jerusalem through all generations.
Their bloodguilt,22 which I have not pardoned, I will pardon.23" THE LORD DWELLS IN ZION!24
