Neverthelessheleftnothimself without witness, in that he did good, and gaveusrain from heaven,andfruitfulseasons,fillingourhearts with foodandgladness.

And with thesesayingsscarce restrained they the people, that they hadnot done sacrifice unto them.

And there came thither certain JewsfromAntiochandIconium,whopersuaded the people,and, having stonedPaul,drew him out of the city,supposinghe had been dead.

Howbeit, as the disciples stood round abouthim, he rose up, and cameinto the city:and the next day he departedwithBarnabastoDerbe.

And when they had preached the gospel to thatcity,and had taughtmany,[a] they returned againtoLystra,and to Iconium,andAntioch,

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith,andthatwemustthroughmuchtribulationenterinto the kingdom of God.

And when they had ordainedthemelders in everychurch, and had prayedwithfasting, they commendedthem to the Lord,onwhom they believed.

And after they had passed throughoutPisidia, they cametoPamphylia.

And when they had preached the wordinPerga, they went downintoAttalia:

And thencesailedtoAntioch, from whence they had beenrecommended to the grace of Godfor the workwhich they fulfilled.
