And he went his way, and communed with the chief priestsandcaptains,how he might betrayhim unto them.

And they were glad, andcovenanted to givehimmoney.

And he promised, andsoughtopportunity to betrayhim unto them in the absence of the multitude.

Thencame the day of unleavened bread,whenthepassovermust be killed.

And he sentPeterandJohn,saying, Go and prepareus the passover,that we may eat.

And they said unto him,Where wilt thou that we prepare?

And he said unto them,Behold, when ye are enteredinto the city, there shall a manmeetyou,bearing a pitcher of water;followhiminto the housewhere he entereth in.

And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Mastersaith unto thee,Whereis the guestchamber,where I shall eat the passoverwithmydisciples?

And he shall shewyou a large upper roomfurnished: there make ready.
