21ThenJesuswentthence, and departedinto the coasts of TyreandSidon.22And,behold , a woman of Canaancame out of the samecoasts, and cried unto him,saying , Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David;mydaughter is grievously vexed with a devil .
23But he answeredhernot a word.Andhisdisciplescame and besoughthim,saying , Sendheraway ; for she criethafterus.24But he answered and said , I amnotsentbutunto the lostsheep of the house of Israel.25Then came she and worshippedhim,saying , Lord,helpme.26But he answered and said , It isnotmeet to take the children'sbread,and to cast it to dogs.27And she said , Truth,Lord:yetthedogseatof the crumbswhichfallfromtheirmasters'table.28ThenJesusanswered and said unto her,Owoman,great is thyfaith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt .Andherdaughter was made wholefrom that veryhour.
