For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe .
Which none of the princes of this world knew : for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned .
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will , and will know , not the speech of them which are puffed up , but the power.
And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know .
But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
For now we see through a glass, darkly ; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known .
And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped ?
So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken ? for ye shall speak into the air.
