I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified .
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk . And so ordain I in all churches.
As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able ; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Wherefore I give you to understand , that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied : for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret , that the church may receive edifying.
By which also ye are saved , if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
