And I looked , and rose up , and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible , and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.

Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced : for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced : so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:
Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin .
