Before
destruction
the
heart
of
man
is
haughty
, and
before
honour
is
humility.

He that
answereth

matter
before he
heareth
it, it is
folly
and
shame
unto him.

spirit
of a
man
will
sustain

infirmity;
but a
wounded
spirit
who can
bear
?

The
heart
of the
prudent
getteth
knowledge;

ear

wise
seeketh
knowledge.

man's
gift
maketh

for him, and

in his own
cause
seemeth
just;

neighbour
cometh

searcheth
him.

lot
causeth
contentions
to
cease

parteth

mighty.
