8 But we know that 1the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9 realizing the fact that 2law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and 3rebellious, for the 4ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and 5profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers 10 aand b6immoral men cand 7homosexuals dand 8kidnappers eand 9liars fand 10perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to 11sound teaching, 11 according to 12the glorious gospel of 13the blessed God, with which I have been 14entrusted. 12 I thank 15Christ Jesus our Lord, who has 16strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, 17putting me into service, 13 even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a 18persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was 19shown mercy because 20I acted ignorantly in unbelief; 14 and the 21grace of our Lord was more than abundant, with the 22faith and love which are found in Christ Jesus. 15 23It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that 24Christ Jesus came into the world to 25save sinners, among whom 26I am foremost of all. 16 Yet for this reason I 27found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might 28demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those gwho would believe in Him for eternal life. 17 Now to the 29King heternal, 30immortal, 31invisible, the 32only God, 33be honor and glory iforever and ever. Amen. 18 This 34command I entrust to you, Timothy, 35my json, in accordance with the 36prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you 37fight the good fight,
