But we know that 1the Law is good, ifoneuses it lawfully,
9realizing the fact that 2law is not made for a righteousperson, but for those who are lawless and 3rebellious, for the 4ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and 5profane, for those who kill their fathersormothers, for murderers10aand b6immoralmencand 7homosexualsdand 8kidnapperseand 9liarsfand 10perjurers, and whateverelse is contrary to 11soundteaching,
11according to 12the gloriousgospel of 13the blessedGod, with which I have been 14entrusted.
I thank15ChristJesus our Lord, who has 16strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, 17putting me into service,
even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a 18persecutor and a violentaggressor. Yet I was 19shownmercybecause20I actedignorantly in unbelief;
and the 21grace of our Lord was morethanabundant, with the 22faith and love which are found in ChristJesus.
1523It is a trustworthystatement, deservingfullacceptance, that 24ChristJesuscame into the world to 25savesinners, among whom26I amforemost of all.
16Yet for thisreason I 27foundmercy, so that in me as the foremost, JesusChrist might 28demonstrate His perfectpatience as an example for thosegwho wouldbelieve in Him for eternallife.
17Now to the 29Kingheternal, 30immortal, 31invisible, the 32onlyGod, 33be honor and gloryiforever and ever. Amen.
