13Now as they observed the 8confidence of 9Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrainedmen, they were amazed, and 10began to recognize them gas having been with Jesus.
And seeing the man who had been healedstanding with them, they hadnothing to say in reply.
But when they had ordered them to leave the h11Council, they began to confer with oneanother,
16saying, "12What shall we do with thesemen? For the fact that a 13noteworthyimiracle has takenplacethrough them is apparent to all who live in Jerusalem, and we cannotdeny it.
"But so that it will not spreadanyfurtheramong the people, let us warn them to speaknolonger to anyman14in thisname."
