13aFor He rescued us from the b1domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of c2His belovedSon,
143in whom we haveredemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15dHe is the 4image of the 5invisibleGod, the 6firstborn of allcreation.
For e7by Him allthings were created, 8both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether9thronesordominionsorrulersorauthorities -10allthings have been createdthrough Him and for Him.
He f11is beforeallthings, and in Him allthingsgholdtogether.
He is also12head of 13the body, the church ; and He is 14the beginning, 15the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to havefirstplace in everything.
For hit was 16the Father's goodpleasure for all17the ifullness to dwell in Him,
and through Him to 18reconcileallthings to Himself, having made19peacethrough20the blood of His cross ; through Him, I say, 21whether things on earthor things in jheaven.
And although you were 22formerlyalienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evildeeds,
22yet He has now23reconciled you in His fleshly24bodythroughdeath, in order to 25present you before Him 26holy and blameless and beyondreproach -
23ifindeed you continue in kthe faithfirmly27established and steadfast, and not movedaway from the 28hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed29in allcreationunderheaven, 30and of which I, Paul, lwas made a m31minister.
2432Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh33I ndo my share on behalf of 34His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lackingoin Christ'safflictions.
2535Of this church I pwas made a ministeraccording to the 36stewardship from Godbestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might qfullycarry out the preaching of the word of God,
that is, 37the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His rsaints,
to whom38Godwilled to makeknownwhat is 39the riches of the glory of thismysteryamong the Gentiles, which is 40Christ in you, the 41hope of glory.
We proclaim Him, 42admonishingeveryman and teachingeverymanswith all43wisdom, so that we may 44presenteverymant45complete in Christ.
For this purpose also I 46labor, 47striving48according to His upower, which vmightilyworkswithin me.
