10 and have 1put on the new self who is being a2renewed to a true knowledge 3according to the image of the One who 4created him- 11 a renewal in which 5there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 6circumcised and uncircumcised, b7barbarian, Scythian, 8slave and freeman, but 9Christ is all, and in all. 12 So, as those who have been 10chosen of God, holy and beloved, 11put on a 12heart of compassion, kindness, 13humility, gentleness and c14patience ; 13 15bearing with one another, and 16forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone ; 17just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14 Beyond all these things put on love, which is d18the perfect bond of 19unity. 15 Let 20the peace of Christ erule in your hearts, to which findeed you were called in 21one body ; and gbe thankful. 16 Let 22the word of hChrist richly dwell within you, iwith all wisdom 23teaching and admonishing jone another 24with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, 25singing kwith thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 26Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, 27giving thanks through Him to God the Father.

18 28Wives, 29be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 30Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them. 20 31Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing lto the Lord.
