Then the LORDsaid, "1My Spirit shall not astrive with manforever, b2because he also is flesh; cnevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twentyyears."
The 3Nephilim were on the earth in thosedays, and alsoafterward , when the sons of Godcame in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mightymenwho were of old, men of renown.
Then the LORDsaw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that 4everyintent of the thoughts of his heart was onlyevilcontinually .
65The LORD was sorry that He had mademan on the earth, and He was 6grieveddin His heart.
The LORDsaid, "7I will blot out manwhom I have created from the face of the land, from man to animals to creepingthings and to birds of the esky; for 8I amsorry that I have made them."

Now the earth was 14corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was 15filled with violence.
12Godlooked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for 16allflesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.
Then Godsaid to Noah, "17The end of allflesh has comebefore Me; for the earth is filled with violencebecause of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.
