Then God said, "I'm not going to breathe life into men and women endlessly. Eventually they're going to die; from now on they can expect a life span of 120 years."

Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."

Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years.”

Entonces el SEÑOR dijo: No contenderá mi Espíritu para siempre con el hombre, porque ciertamente él es carne. Serán, pues, sus días ciento veinte años.

And Yahweh said, "My Spirit shall not abide with humankind forever in that he [is] also flesh. And his days [shall be] one hundred and twenty years."

Da sprach der HERR: Die Menschen wollen sich von meinem Geist nicht mehr strafen lassen; denn sie sind Fleisch. Ich will ihnen noch Frist geben hundertundzwanzig Jahre.

And the Lord God said, My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men for ever, because they are flesh, but their days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Entonces el Señor dijo: «Mi Espíritu no tolerará a los humanos durante mucho tiempo, porque solo son carne mortal. En el futuro, la duración de la vida no pasará de ciento veinte años».

Pero el SEÑOR dijo: «Mi espíritu no permanecerá en el ser humano para siempre, porque no es más que un simple mortal; por eso vivirá solamente ciento veinte años».

Toen zeide de HEERE: Mijn Geest zal niet in eeuwigheid twisten met den mens, dewijl hij ook vlees is; doch zijn dagen zullen zijn honderd en twintig jaren.

And the LORd sayd: My spirite shall not allwaye stryve withe man for they are flesh. Nevertheles I wyll geue them yet space and hundred and .xx. yeres

And Jehovah saith, `My Spirit doth not strive in man -- to the age; in their erring they [are] flesh:' and his days have been an hundred and twenty years.
