"1YOU HAVE MADE HIM aFOR A LITTLEWHILELOWERTHAN THE ANGELS ; YOU HAVE CROWNED HIM WITH GLORY AND HONOR, bAND HAVE APPOINTED HIM OVER THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS ;
82YOU HAVE PUTALLTHINGS IN SUBJECTIONUNDER HIS FEET." For in subjectingallthings to him, He leftnothing that is not subject to him. But now3we do not yetseeallthingssubjected to him.
But we do see Him who was 4madecfor a littlewhilelowerthan the angels, namely, Jesus, 5because of the suffering of death6crowned with glory and honor, so that 7by the grace of God He might 8tastedeath9for everyone.
For 10it was fitting for Him, 11for whom are allthings, and throughwhom are allthings, in bringingmanysons to glory, to 12perfect the d13author of their salvationthroughsufferings.
For both He who 14sanctifies and those who 15are esanctified are all16from one Father; for whichreason He is not ashamed to call them 17brethren,
12saying, "18I WILL PROCLAIM YOUR NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION I WILL SING YOUR PRAISE."
And again, "19I WILL PUT MY TRUST IN HIM." And again, "20BEHOLD, I AND THE CHILDRENWHOMGOD HAS GIVEN ME."
14Therefore, since the childrenshare in f21flesh and blood, 22He Himselflikewisealsopartook of the same, that 23throughdeath He might renderpowerless24him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,
and might free those who through 25fear of death were subject to slaveryall their lives.
For assuredly He does not ggivehelp to angels, but He giveshelp to the hdescendant of Abraham.
17Therefore, He ihad26to be madelike His brethren in allthings, so that He might 27become a merciful and faithful28highpriest in 29things pertaining to God, to 30makepropitiation for the sins of the people.
