9So there remains a Sabbathrest for the people of God.
For the one who has entered His rest has himselfalso1rested from his works, as 2God did from His.
11Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that noone will fall, through following the same3example of 4disobedience.
For 5the word of God is 6living and 7active and sharperthananytwo-edged8sword, and piercing as far as the division of 9soul and 10spirit, of bothjoints and marrow, and 11able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
And 12there is nocreaturehidden from His sight, but allthings are 13open and laidbare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
14Therefore, since we have a great14highpriestwho has 15passedthrough the heavens, Jesus16the Son of God, let us holdfast our 17confession.
For we do not have18a highpriestwhocannotsympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been 19tempted in allthings as we are, yet 20withoutsin.
16Therefore let us 21drawnear with 22confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receivemercy and findgrace to help in time of need.
