1Therefore1leaving2the aelementaryteaching about the bChrist, let us press on to c3maturity, not layingagain a foundation of repentance from 4deadworks and of faithtowardGod,
of 5instruction about washings and 6laying on of hands, and the 7resurrection of the dead and 8eternaljudgment.
And this we will do, 9ifGodpermits.
For in the case of those who have once been 10enlightened and have tasted of 11the heavenlygift and have beenmade12partakers of the HolySpirit,
and 13have tasted the good14word of God and the powers of 15the age to come,
and then have fallenaway, it is 16impossible to renew them again to repentance, d17since they againcrucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to openshame.
